Ice-strenghtened, single decked, single screw motor ship with double bottom and double skin with coated cargo tanks. No steel structure facing into the cargo tanks. The hull form is designed for minimum resistance, overall design provides an environmentally friendly, cost-effective, reliable and flexible unit. One deep-well pump for each tank and complete segregation for each cargo tank, one vapour return line.

HULL
HULL MATERIALS
The hull inclusive superstructure and deckhouse are made of steel and completely welded, according to the regulations and under the survey of the Class. All outside screw and nuts to be at least hot galvanized. Continuous welded seams are to be used for all tanks and for all weather exposed areas of the hull. Apart from special reinforcements, the material dimensions correspond to those required by Class.
EQUIPMENT FOR CARGO
CARGO SPACE DEFINITION
TYPE OF CARGO SPACES
Epoxy coated cargo tanks integrated in the structure separated by longitudinal and transverse corrugated bulkheads and independent slop tanks on deck
NUMBER OF CARGO COMPARTMENT
12 Cargo Tanks + 2 independent slop tanks on deck
MAX CARGO DENSITY
1.54 t/m³
CARGO MANIFOLDS
Cargo manifold system is designed so that 14 different substances can be loaded / unloaded at the same time.
DECK CRANES FOR CARGO
GURDESAN, Cargo Hose Crane, SWL 5t, 16 m / Provision Crane, SWL 2t, 7 m
CARGO SYSTEM
Cargo transfer systems have butterfly and non-return valve capable of being remotely operated on each tank filling and discharge line and two manually operated butterfly valves manifold line port and starboard side. Cargo system can be controlled from cargo control room by means of the cargo monitoring system, hydraulic power pack and valve remote control system discussed below.
CARGO DISCHARGE CAPACITY
The cargo discharge system of the ship is capable of discharging 6 tanks at the same time in full capacity.
CARGO PUMPS
FRAMO, SD150, 12 x 350 m³/h, SD100, 2 x 100 m³/h, 110 mlc (fixed) TK 80, 1 x 70 m³/h, 110 mlc (portable) hydraulically driven
CARGO PIPES & FITTINGS
The material of the cargo pipes and flanges is St Steel 316L 1.4404. DN 25 x sch 5s, for stripping pipes, DN150 x 3.0 mm for cargo discharge, filling, manifold pipes, DN250 x sch 5s for common and stern pipes. Except valve, spool pieces etc connections cargo pipes are joined butt-welded type full penetration. Valve and spool pieces connections are to be of the neck flange (DIN 2633 PN16 316L).
There is a separate DN25 stainless steel 316L pipe between the cargo pump stripping flanges and manifold lines connected between manifold flange and manifold valve.
FREEZING, REFRIGERATING & HEATING SYSTEM FOR CARGO
Deck Heater, hot water.
CARGO VENTILATION SYSTEM
All cargo tanks and slop tanks have separate controlled tank venting system with pressure / vacuum valve system. This system keeps the tank pressure at 0.20 bar and vacuum at 0.035 bar maximum. Pipes are designed so that self draining to the tanks is possible under any condition of the ship and pressure drop is kept at minimum. Tank ventilation pipes are DN100 x 2.6 mm stainless steel 316L 1.4404. Pipe connections are fully penetration but welded type. The loading capacity to each tank is about 450 m³/h.
TANK CLEANING SYSTEM
SCANJET, SC30T, fixed, 10 m³/h,8 bar, single nozzle, jet depth 18 m including ball valve with cam lock male coupling tank cleaning machines for each tank (24 pcs) Tank cleaning heater “situated in deck heating room” has capacity 4000 kW, which drive four fixed machines at 10 bar simultaneously when water temperature difference 80 C. Two portable 10 m³/h at 8 bar tank cleaning machines to be kept on board.
