All elements within the cargo tanks, elements on shell-plating, elements on liquid fuels bulkheads, elements on open-decks and elements subject to Class requirements to be welded on double-pieces.

CARGO SYSTEM

CARGO PIPES & FITTINGS
Pipe size is selected to carry 500 t/h asphalt product at 170° C. Each tank has DN250 main and DN100 stripping and emergency purpose gate valve. These valves to be operated from main deck by means of rod and deck stand. Expansion joints to be installed every proper point. Pipe class to be Class II steel, finished black so that manufactured and tested in accordance with the requirements of Classification Rules. Working pressure 10 bars and working temperature 170°C.
CARGO SYSTEM VALVES
The material of all cargo valves is cast-steel and internal stainless-steel, type gate-valve, cover by screw and drain plug. All joints for Cargo lines spirometallic.

CARGO VENTILATION SYSTEM
BOLACO, Each tank has steel DN100 pipe and DN100 pressure vacuum valves. The set pressure of the pressure vacuum valves are positive pressure not exceeding 0,014 N/mm2 at pressure side, negative pressure not exceeding 0,0035 N/mm2 at suction side.
TANK CLEANING SYSTEM
Each cargo tanks are provided with two hatches for ventilation purposes, also this hatches can be used for cleaning operations with portable machine.

COOLING SYSTEM
The seawater is taken from sea inlets which are arranged at port and starboard side of the engine room double bottom. Sea inlets connected each other by means of common line. The common line feed all engine room sea water pumps. Sea water is sent to main engine LT Cooler, Generating sets, AC condenser, Provision condensers, ECR AC Unit and Fresh-Water Generator. Cooling capacity to be based on 32 C sea-water temperature.

HEATING SYSTEM FOR CARGO
2 pcs 3500 kW Thermal Oil Heater to be fitted, prepare to burn HFO 380 Cst and MDO. Each with a capacity to keep the cargo temperature at 170 C and increase the cargo temperature 3 C per day at the same time when the sea water temperature 5 C and ambient temperature 0 C. The thermal oil heater also can meet the air condition and engine heat consumers when the ship is in port.
